What we offer

Sharing Hands Thrift Store is committed to offering merchandise that is in perfect or near-perfect condition. Our volunteers carefully inspect every donation for stains, rips, damage, and usability. Only items that meet our standards are placed on the sales floor.

We carry a wide variety of products with something for everyone, including men's, women's, and children's clothing, shoes, and accessories; kitchen and serving items; a large collection of hardback and paperback books; toys, games, and DVDs; antiques and collectables; and much more.

And don't miss our "back room," where you can find bed and bath linens; tools, electronics, and sports equipment; household and automotive items; and arts and crafts supplies.

To top it all off, we've even got a Hobbit House where your kids can hang out while you shop!

Please note: If you have items to donate, check them in with a staff member or volunteer!

Our organization wouldn't be able to function without the donations we receive from our generous community members. Proceeds from Thrift Store sales are a main funding source for our food bank and other services.

Unfortunately, people sometimes drop off items that aren't in a condition that allows us to resell them. This leaves us with the cost of  disposing or recycling them, which cuts into the funds we need to help our client families.

Here is a list of items we cannot accept. In general, if an item is damaged, stained, worn out, or very dirty, we won't be able to use it. Sharing Hands reserves the right to decline any item we believe does not fit our guidelines.

  • Fluorescent bulbs or ballasts
  • Mattresses
  • Infant furniture, car seats, strollers, etc.
  • TV screens
  • Anything broken or not working
  • VHS or cassette tapes
