Oregon food banks are intended for families that meet the income guidelines for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits. However, you don't need to show proof of income to shop with us.

Though our stock varies from week to week, we always offer nutritional food choices for you and your family. In addition to shelf stable (canned and boxed) items, our large-capacity freezers and refrigerators allow us to offer meats and dairy products. Fresh produce is also suppied as are certain non-food items, depending on what is availale during a given week. Volunteer staff will help you find what you need and explain our current limits on individual and total items.

Yes. A volunteer will get you the meats and dairy products you want from the freezer / refrigerator. After that, you can pick out the items you want, just like you would at a regular grocery store. Although we limit the number of shoppers in the store to two at a time, wait times are normally no longer than a few minutes. We have chairs available for anyone waiting in line

You can shop here every two weeks. Try to keep your visits at least 14 days apart.

If you can’t come here yourself—due to work, health concerns, transportation, or another reason—you can name a trusted person as an Authorized Representative to shop for you. Print and fill out this Authorized Representative form and have your representative bring it with him or her.

Yes, donations are welcome! Make sure your donations are not past their expiration date, not opened, and do not have defective packaging, If you have fresh produce to donate, make sure it is clean and undamaged.
